ABA Top 100 Event 'Centennial Festival of Riverboats' to have multi-million economic impact (Louisville Business First, 10/15/14)
A motorcoach tour, which includes about 42 people, will spend an average of $20,000 in a city per trip. During the Centennial Festival of Riverboats being held in Louisville this week, there will be 93 motorcoaches full of passengers who will spend three or four days here. Those visitors alone will generate an estimated $1.9 million in tourism dollars to fuel the local economy.

This may very well be one of the most glorious starts of a fall season. The weather has been beautiful with crystal-clear skies. Among the great attractions of the fall are the various forms of agritourism, a term used to describe a getaway to a place that dabbles in some kind of agriculture.
