If you think about the most visited park in our national park system, not that many people would assume it is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It has more than 800 miles of trails and spans across 500,000 acres. With a rich diversity of animal life, mountains and 1,500 different types of plants, it certainly offers a lot for those groups that are interested in getting away. Charter bus travel is the perfect way to get to the Great Smoky Mountains and surrounding area without having to break the bank. These are just some of the reasons to want to visit.

The rest and relaxation

This is the reason that most people visit. You can enjoy the serenity and beauty of undisturbed nature. The Great Smoky Mountains are great because it allows you to either enjoy complete serenity or enjoy a touristy outing. Whatever you are interested in doing, you can do it here.

If you like the outdoors, Gatlinburg is a perfect place to visit near the Smokies. Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and other attractions

There is a lot to do here as well. You can touch a stingray at Touch-A Ray Bay, visit the discovery center, coral reef shark lagoon, and a tropical rain forest. There are also hundreds of exhibits at the Guinness World of Records Museum that are all related to the Guinness Book of World Records, best-selling books the world over. There is a Space Needle observation tower, Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery, Smoky Mountain Winery, Mysterious Mansion of Gatlinburg, Motion Ride Movie Theater, and Hollywood Star Cars Museum – of course, there are many things worth seeing that be described in just a short summary.

Restaurants

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville are all filled with tremendous group friendly restaurants. Whether you are looking for a night on the town, some down-home cooking, or just want a quick bite and get back outside, there are plenty of possibilities for your group in the Smokies.

Arcades, mini golf, and shopping

In Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg, your group will be presented with some amazing opportunities to shop. The Tanger Five Oaks Outlet Center and the Old Mill Complex offer charter bus parking and groups can spend the whole day browsing the shops. Take your group to the Bass Pro Shop for all your outdoor accessories. For youth groups and the young at heart there are entertaining arcades and miniature golf courses including Ripley's Old MacDonalds's Farm Mini-Golf in Sevierville. From bungee jumping to laser tag, from children's rides to video games, these group friendly venues have anything you could possibly want to play.
