“The whole TF1 Licenses team is very happy to attend this year’s BLE,” says Cécile Chevalier, TF1 Licenses marketing manager. “We missed meeting our partners in person and seeing all the big projects in 3D rather than behind a screen. BLE is the biggest European event for the licensing industry and we look forward to the new experience of this hybrid event.

“We are really excited to be able to return to BLE and meet all of our partners during the event, as well as during the ‘after events’,” said Waell Oueslati, EMEA Acquisitions and Licensing Director, Crunchyroll.

In addition to facilitating presentations, intellectual property discovery and meeting bookings, the online platform will host on-demand educational content and exhibitor trailers. This content will be uploaded after the in-person event ends on November 20 and follow-up meetings will be available during BLE Virtual on November 30 and December 1.

The online meetings feature, sponsored by Flowhaven, was launched on BLE (and sister show Licensing Expo) five years ago. In its first year, more than 1,200 business meetings were organized and 13,783 online profiles created. By 2019, when BLE was last in person, those statistics had climbed to 3,129 meetings.

“We are only seven weeks away from meeting in person at BLE and knowing that we will have over 150 companies from all over the world exhibiting in London and / or online is great news for the industry and for our visitors,” says Anna Knight, Vice President, Licensing, Informa Markets. “I think it’s fair to say that we all missed this one-on-one time, and it will be wonderful to reignite connections and provide inspiration and food for thought for the European licensing industry. one more time. And for those who participate online, I promise you won’t miss out. We will broadcast streaming sessions, vox pops and exhibitor interviews filmed at BLE in London, as well as exclusive and never-before-seen content created for the virtual platform.
