Clarksville Gas and Water Department Reports Closure of Clark Street for Water Line Replacement
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) is continuing work to replace the water main on Clark Street and has closed the road from Greenwood Avenue to Emory Street.
Low water pressure can also affect neighborhoods during construction.
Clark Street will only be accessible to local traffic and emergency vehicles. All other traffic will be diverted to Greenwood Avenue and Emory Street to avoid the construction area.
The water main replacement is expected to be completed and the road reopened around 4:00 p.m.
