Closure of COVID vaxx clinics
CK Public Health’s mass vaccination efforts against COVID-19 will soon end, leaving pharmacies as the best option for local residents.
Public Health’s latest vaccination clinics are Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon and May 31 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their clinic at 730 Richmond Street in Chatham.
“Most pharmacies book appointments in advance and some also allow walk-in visits as well,” CK Public Health manager Alyssa Bunning said in a press release. “It’s a very convenient option for our local residents and one that we encourage to use.”
Those looking to book their vaccine through a local pharmacy can find full details about a specific location online at www.covid-19.ontario.ca/vaccine-locations or by calling their local pharmacy directly.
