The Yass and Binalong Memorial Pools are scheduled to open for the summer, pending COVID-19 restrictions.
The swimming season will start on Monday November 1 and will continue until Friday March 25. The swimming pool will be open daily during this period, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Customers will be able to purchase season tickets and enroll in swimming and water aerobics course programs through the Council’s online portal, which can be found on the Council’s website or by following this link: yassvalleycouncil.gymmasteronline. com / portal / login.
Full payment is required upon registration and pre-booking of classes will be required. Reservations will not be restricted and participants may register for more than one session at a time.
The latest COVID-19 rules and restrictions will be shared on the Council’s website and posted at swimming pools closest to opening.
“The board understands how much our community enjoys swimming in the Yass and Binalong pools and the staff are working very hard to ensure that our facilities reopen as part of a COVID-19 security plan during the summer months,” Yass Valley Mayor Rowena Abbey said.
“We will continue to monitor the NSW Government’s latest public health order and update clients accordingly. “

Please Note: To ensure that all children are grouped correctly based on their ability to swim, the Yass Valley Council Swimming Program will conduct assessments of all swimmers on Monday, November 8 starting at 3:30 p.m.
