DC Udhampur examines online public service delivery by operational departments – India Education | Latest Education News | World Education News



UDHAMPUR: The Udhampur Deputy Commissioner, Krittika Jyotsna, today convened a meeting of officers of the enforcement departments to review the delivery of public services through the online mode under the rapid assessment service system.

During the meeting, DC reiterated that Udhampur District Administration has already launched several e-services which are greatly benefiting the public in an effective, efficient and transparent manner.

The DC added that the Udhampur administration is striving to provide maximum online services to the popular masses in the district as per government guidelines.

Highlighting the benefit of online mode services for the people, she asked officers to explore the possibility of adding more online services from their department to give the public a taste of good and transparent governance. The DC informed that several e-services from different departments are already in the public domain and very soon more services will be made available to the masses.

The DC reiterated that such facilities save time for the popular masses due to their easy access.

“NIC plays a central role in managing and providing the technical support required for the smooth operation of IT services in the district,” she said. The Deputy Commissioner urged all officers to ensure and make the system transparent, fast and hassle-free for all services provided to the public.
