How to cancel or rebook flights and get refunds amid ongoing travel chaos

With hundreds of cancellations affecting most major airlines, some travelers may want to delay their vacation plans.

For many, it’s not worth going to an airport, waiting in huge queues, and then finding out in the departure lounge that your flight is cancelled.

Search terms such as ‘cancel my flight’ and ‘how to cancel a flight’ have skyrocketed in Scotland, suggesting many are not confident their flight will go ahead.

Here’s all the info you might need about cancellations, rebookings and refunds, for those who’ve had a disrupted flight or are considering ditching a holiday to avoid chaos.
