Midland City Pool Reservations Open Ahead of Summer

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – Pack your sunscreen, it’s almost summer in the pool! The City of Midland Parks and Recreation Division has made it easy for you to start planning your summer pool reservations in advance.

In a recent press release, the City of Midland Parks and Recreation Division will begin taking private pool party reservations and pavilion rentals at Doug Russell and the Washington Family Aquatic Center this month. You and your family can make a reservation online and in person before the summer.

To book online click here and if you want to book your party in person you can drop by the MLK Center located at 2300 Butternut Lane or drop by the Parks Office located at 2701 W. Elizabeth. Customers can pay for their reservations by cash, check or credit card. Online payments must be made by credit card only. You will be required to pay a $250.00 deposit and $700 rental fee (fee includes lifeguards). Pool reservations can be made as of June 3rd to July 30.

Guests can also make reservations for the Doug Russell Pavilion at this time. The pavilion can be rented on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the entire session from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

On Sundays, the pavilion can be rented from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pavilion rental fee is $100 deposit and $100 rental (this fee does not include entry to the facility).

Punch passes will be available at the parks office, the MLK Community Center and both pools.

  • 10 shots $15
  • 25 shots $35
  • 75 shots $75.
