Table Mountain tourists can now skip the long line for an additional R300


With the return of local and international visitors, the Table Mountain Cable Car (TMACC) unveiled a new expressway on Thursday, October 28.

According to TMACC management, the introduction of a premium priority ticket will solve accessibility issues during peak season for the international visitor pressed for time to avoid the queue when booking a cable car trip .

TMACC Executive Director Giselle Esau says that as part of their efforts to rebuild Cape Town’s tourism sector, TMACC is also partnering with companies to create memorable opportunities for visitors to experience, support and interact with the local tourism industry and what it has to offer. .

TMACC has also partnered with the local Western Cape tourism sector to improve its offerings through its #TheCablewayLovesLocal campaign. Over a three-month period, TMACC has already partnered with luxury coffee, bakery / pastry and all-day coffee brand Coco Safar, as well as the 35-meter thrill ride in Cape Town; the Sky-Hi ride and the Groot Constantia wine farm.
