TTD Launches Special Darshan Tickets For January 2022; 4.6 Lakh already booked

Tirumala Tirupati Darshan Online Tickets: The demand for Tirumala Darshan tickets continues unabated and thousands of people have connected to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) website to book the tickets online. TTD’s website received 14 lakhs of darshan tickets at a time. However, the ticket allocation process went smoothly and 4,60,000 tickets were booked in 55 minutes, a local information portal reported. The official website further confirmed that the special darshan entry quota for the month of January is fully booked as thousands continue to log in. During this time, the TTD released 20,000 tickets per day for January 1 and then from 13 to 22; 12,000 per day from January 2 to 12 and from 23 to 31 respectively. On the other hand, TTD released 5,500 virtual service tickets online Thursday for January 1, 2, 13, 22 and 26, which were booked within minutes. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, which governs the hilltop shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala, will also release the Sarvadarshan tickets for the month of January on Saturday. No less than 1,55,000 tickets will be available for Sarvadarshan.

Latest COVID rules for visiting Tirumala Tirupati:

  • TTD said that now pilgrims must be provided with fully vaccinated certificates or a negative Covid test report taken 48 hours earlier.
  • New regulations are being implemented to protect the health of worshipers as the number of worshipers increases. TTD called on worshipers to cooperate with the move, he said.
